Subject: Complete Disaster
Comment: I should have known that when I called the local Jane Harvey branch and the receptionist didn't know what day it was, that I should have kept looking for a divorce lawyer. Instead I put my trust in this firm. Since that time, they have made errors on my paperwork, tried to get a hold of me thru a phone number I listed as emergency only (when I provided 4 phone numbers for them to contact me at). After my initial meeting when I was NOT told that the price board out front only represented a small fraction of the real cost, a divorce is listed as $499, when really that is less than HALF! Once I had left the office, I noticed that the amont I was charged was $499, and not the $99 I was told was the retainer fee I called the office immediatly to inform them of the error and was then told I still owed $560!!! Things are still going downhill. I thought ending a marriage was hard but getting the truth out of this law firm is proven to be harder. Please do yourself a favor and use this 'law firm' as a LAST RESORT ONLY. I am still waiting for them to return 3 voicemail message I have left with the correct daytime phone number...
